Bolt length? Looks like it needs to be a bit shorter?

Thanks man, they aren't quite as nice as I'd like but at least you won't ever really see them. The drawbar problems show through into the finish, and they took about 4 times longer than expected while I nursed it along.

After I try these out I'm going to get some more 3/4" material and try the square nut version. Hopefully the mill can keep a friggen grip, so I can get back to reasonable times.

There's a pair in the mail for you, two day. Remember, torque wrench, and I'm not responsible if they fail on track lol

Yeah, going back to ace hardware for flange bolts here in a few. I'll report back with what I use.

33ftlbs is the number I recall Rtele/rallas saying the bracket should be good to.

I have two half brackets you could weld into one if you strip one of those.

I'm pretty sure that table assumes the material with sustain proper bolt preload.

I bought grade 8 flanged 3/8" hardware, was pretty spendy at ace but what are you gonna do.

1-1/2" and 1" hardware seems to be the right lengths.

I really like my ace. They have stuff way cheaper than anywhere else I've been. Why the different lengths? Or did you mean either or.

The brackets are stepped, you could use 4 1" bolts but I wouldn't advise it.

Ohhh. I was confused for a second. I thought it was 2 different lengths for the same holes in the ear. Makes sense now.

30ft/lb is what I have used for >20 assembly and disassembly cycles trying different things. No damaged threads yet. These brackets were were made out of 1" stock right? I would prefer for my set to be made just like these with only tapped threads. Heck, ill even tap it myself. I already have all the hardware needed.
