Had a nice close call today. Turns out the 929 master uses a banjo bolt for one of its connections. That would have been a good leak. Salvaged one off the 99 master from monk so were good to go.

Also rebuilt my rear calipers, bolted up the rear suspension and added a clutch stopper to move the engagement point up a little bit. The hole is an m6, but that seemed too small so I drilled it out for an M8 bolt. Speaking of M8's, found these three nuts in my nut bucket. All M8x1.25, but with 12mm, 13mm, and 14mm heads.

Started on the ABS wiring too. This is going to suck. I have miles of 22 gauge TXL wire. and a **** ton of solderless crimps.

Need to decide if I need a switch inside the cabin for ABS or if I'm ok keeping one under the hood for diagnostics.

Also upgraded the megasquirt to 1.5 alpha 3. No big changes yet, but it uses something called engine states that are global. Idle, accel, overrun etc. Excited to play with it.

Oh and MS supports DBW now too...now that would be an interesting swap.

codrus I remembered whyboth wires run to the megasquirt. The MAX9226 is set up as a 0 crossing detector. So I need the differential signal between the 2 sensor wires.

If anyone has ABS and gets a chance could you take pictures of how the sensor wires run in the wheel wells. There are like 4 different brackets on each wire.

Awesome. Do you have any of the front going up into the engine bay? There is a grommet, but I can't find a hole for it.

Lars, let me know if you can take some pics too.

remember the one that the wiring diagram says switch power needs to go to switched power or it'll kill your battery.

I actually totally forgot about that until I almost crimped it together with the other 2.

Is there anywhere in the engine bay with switched power?

No idea. I piggy backed on the fuel pump relay I put in after melting the stock one with the BOSCH 044

Fuel pump relay is a good idea. Hot during crank and run.

Yeah, do that. I put mine on hot-in-run, but it cuts out when cranking. Not a big deal, but annoying.

No stock pics of the top of the front ABS wires, sorry.

It gets better. I need to double check but I believe on NAs the fuel pump fuse is also the fuel injection fuse....in the engine bay. So no wires into the cabin for power. Need to check some wiring diagrams.

Things are coming together.

So far only 2 leaks. 1 on the line to the rear I reflare, and forgot to tighten fully, and the other was a huge mess. When I pulled apart the prop valve to make it 1:1 I didn't realize that there was some sort of rubber pressure relief valve. So when I went to bleed the brakes it squirted brake fluid all over the engine bay. That was a shitty cleanup.

Pulled out my 90-93 valve, stripped it, and installed it in its place. Problem solved.
