My motor is a SNC; I'm picking this block up for $50 tomorrow. It is a long nose, correct? Just want to be sure before I drive to get it.

I swap the oil pump, crank and everything associated correct?

Did some maintenance today. Plugs, wires, and a new fuel filter.

the old one was filled with rust and so much gross stuff. Probably an 1/8th cup of rust.

that's maybe 1/100th of it haha.
Runs way smoother now.

Picked up that bottom end. Pistons are detonated to ----. Plan on swapping the crank and oil pump, and whatever else to convert mine to a LNC.

Does the crank look ok?

Never pulled an engine before. Or done a clutch besides a dirt bike. Didn't really research it much, just figured I needed to disconnect everything that was connected. Worked out fairly well for doing it solo. Borrowed an engine hoist from a friend.

Couldn't get a decent picture of the flywheel with the lightning in my garage and my iPhone. Everything was blue'd to ---- though. Going to hopefully get my flywheel resurfaced tomorrow and toss a new clutch and pressure plate in.
How bad is it that I'm not replacing the throw out bearing?

Tips on the best way to clean engine bay with all the wiring harness in it? I don't want to strip the bay down.

Had the machine shop take off a few pounds when they resurfaced my flywheel.

The new bearing got dented a little when I was putting it in. Still spins and feels fine. Will I be ok?

Put it all back in tonight. Well most of it. Can anyone tell me where this goes?

I can't for the life of me figure it out.

Power steering. Looks as though you deleted P/S so that wire can be cut/tucked/etc.

Thank you. I spent about 15 minutes looking for where to plug it in. Now that you mention it, I remember unplugging that.

Put about 200 miles on the new clutch yesterday trying to break it in. It feels awesome now, just a little hard to drive under 5mph. Went to retorque the bellhousing bolts this morning and noticed one of the 17mm bolts backed itself out somewhere along my journey. Anyone know the specs so I can pick up a spare, or anywhere to get just a single replacement? Anybody have one laying around?!?!?

How do you guys get over being unmotivated? I wrecked my dirt bike about a week ago and shattered my pelvis into a half dozen pieces, resulting in a bunch of internal bleeding. Also have a pretty severe concussion with a bunch of memory loss. I've been going doctor to doctor and should go under the knife sometime this next week.
I have the majority of the parts to turbo my car, but I have no motivation to finish it right now. Obviously I can't because I'm bed ridden, but I just keep having the urge to sell off all the turbo parts and sell the car. And I know I'm going to be just as unmotivated a couple months down the road when I'm nearly completed with recovery.

Besides a wideband, can you guys inform me of anything else I am missing? Currently drugged on pain meds so my thinking isn't the clearest. Have a GM IAT and pig tail as well for the MS.
