Problem solved
After reading some more about accel enrichment and mapDOT etc, i was able to correspond the map de engaging with small fluctuations in the map signal. The map threshold was too sensitive so even tiny changes in the map signal (as small as 1kpa) would engage ae. I set it higher and set decel fuel % to 100 and did some third gear pulls on the way home. Logs show no dips in pw or duty cycle anymore. Hooray!
Thanks for the help as usual Sixshooter.

I also forgot to add in the screenshot of the log with my lovely linear duty cycle since i fitted the new fuel pump i did some work to my fuel table and was able to reduce lots of fuel up top. so my duty cycle is now at about 75% max or there abouts. I do have some det up at 5k, but ill get it on the dyno soon.
Picked up these today
one is for my buddy! And i got my cop pigtails so ill work on that over the weekend.

Today i had a day at the shed.
First job was to figure out the jobs i have left to do and little projects so i laid everything out on the floor to see what i had.
So the list,,,
Retrofit factory parcel shelf brace
Knock sensor
Brake Stopper
COP conversion loom
Lower control arm replace
Oil pressure sender
bleed clutch
Vband on DP
Metal boost pipes
Battery bracket
adjustable droplinks
catch can
launch control
replace turbo nuts
boost control switch (toggle solenoid/wastegae actuator pressure)
forge engine
There's a few more little jobs i can't remember them
So after i put it all on the floor i had to decide what to do first. So i sey up my welding bench while i decided
I wanted to do some welding (I need a lot of practice) so i went to work on the brake stopper
i added a bit of bracing to it
Cut off what i didnt need
done
Not a major job but i enjoyed it. it passed the time.
Also sorted the launch/flat shift
(Sorry about horizontal video, it wasnt me that video'd it )

So i finished the COPS, they look exactly like the pic in the previous post. Im happy with them.
Last night i went on the dyno. First pulls we made 207 whp at .8 bar
After a lot of messing with the boost control solenoid i now have a very steady 1 bar that comes on quite smooth.
I'll let the chart do the talking.
The Yellow line is on the t25 last year when it made 200whp and the green line is last night. 233whp.
I'll post a log screenshot later on and my tune. I forgot my laptop at home today.

ok.
So i did an compression test and im showing low compression on one cylinder.
Also i took the turbo apart and in fairness it looks ok apart from this...
So im going to put it back together
For now i took a spare engine off a friend to get my car back on the road
So ill be driving again soon
i also picked these up for my daily mx5
tis all go

Did you know that oil is a solvent for many types of rubber? And that the fuel line is not rated for the temp of the oil draining out of a hot turbo? And that it also will not withstand the radiant heat from the turbine housing?
