Welp haven't had much of an update for the reason that I have been in the process of getting into a house instead of an apartment. Finally made moves and been moving stuff over. We are renting for the time being, however I am excited about the changes to come soon.

There is just something to be said of driving into your home vs a garage by the apartment for sure.

I'll get some pictures of the new place here tonight when I get back over there but for now you get 1.

I only got a couple more for now, but the house is a mess right now and going under the knife. New tile, a lot of fixing, ripping out the carpet, cleaning and such getting weeds pulled tomorrow, front and back cause they are high.... The previous renter didn't give 2 ***** about the place and that was apparent.

Broken dishwasher, microwave, broken shower, and broken lights. She said she never used them the 3 years she lived there.

She had 3 kids sooo why do I find that hard to believe. Anyways here are some of the pictures for now.
Kitchen, nice tile that needs a scrubbing, nice counter top, fridge is working surprisingly was just covered in filth.

Backyard, got some fruit trees that need a new drip system her dogs chewed it up, and weeds need to be pulled that are taller than me. I am 6' 0" tall so ya clearly never did anything with those, front yard is similar just not as high.

Once the renovations are done we will live in there, and start moving all or stuff where they need to be. Renovation should take about 2 weeks but I'll say 3 to be safe.

This isn't our forever home but much better than an apartment for sure.

So kind of been checking on the renovations just to see how it's going.

The front yard and back are cleaned up.

I didn't realize how HUGE the backyard really is. Anyways moving towards the inside of the house.

Bedrooms haven't been touched yet.

This use to be like a beat up workstation, well we are making it a closet.

Kitchen has a ways to go, we have almost no cabinet space compared to our last apartment.

Both bathrooms need some TLC as well

Super excited to get in there already!!!

Hopefully looking like 2 weeks and will be moving stuff inside. Another slaving day in the heat, but then I can hopefully get the garage organized too.

Tile work is done. Just need the bathroom, some cleaning, dishwasher and microwave install, and paint and done.

Get a hacky sack, cut a hole in the bottom and slip it over when parked. Keeps it cool enough to handle when it sits in the sun all day.

Ya I haven't driven the car in 3 weeks I think. Just sitting on a trailer as of now, so it isn't sitting on the street. When parked it is in the garage anyways, but the few days it is parked in the sun will def need something to cover it.

Appreciate it

Welp back again, been moving, got a promotion, got engaged. It has been a busy busy month of august to say the least bit.

Now that I am back into the car again, I noticed that while idling the car runs fine. Then when the fan kicks on it drops my timing from 17 down to 9-10 then once the fan kicks off it goes right back up to 17 and holds steady till it kicks back on.

After doing a little research I am not fully sure what it is. The only thing I could find would be the MAT Based Timing Retard. It is hot outside about 100 usually on average daily.

I was wondering if this could be my issue, and if so how can I stop this behavior?

I am going to check my IAT sensor to see if temp readings are crazy high for no reason. Other than that part, I am still researching so I guess we will see what happens.

It was the IAT sensor... Mine had oil on it apparently from my earlier miss hap... I had a spare around and put it in, went out tuning and boosting worked flawlessly... Finally!!! thought it was my timing the entire time.

Now on to other things finally.

Well I went out into the garage, before I moved my radio went out. Just wouldn't turn on. Nothing major it's not the end of the world.

So started checking connections as usual, everything was hooked up but no go.

Went to test my boost gauge with the power source, everything was good but the ignition wire. It just was giving no power.

So I figured it was the connector, just pushed the wire right into the port but no go.
Cut the wire off and tested, no go. So that wire is fried.

I did a bandaid fix for now but this car tends to force me into doing things haha
So guess I'll be rewiring things once I get the second car.

Waiting for parts to arrive as we speak so will keep it up to date when I can.

So got some things in the mail today.... First off the jet stream lights I've been waiting on.

Super excited to get these in, probably tomorrow if anything today is kind of shot already after putting the tv's on wall mounts.

Then I also got these

To start the process of my winter build. Got lots of things I still need to go Pistons, bearings, oil pump, etc but I want to get the big items out of the way. So Pistons will probably be next.

Also got engaged for those that didn't already know so that was the main reason for the lack of updates.

Also put in my shift extender with the heavy skunk shift **** is perfect.

Got the GS shift extender from a member on here and have had it for a while just finally put it in today.

This reminds me that I need to get my interior game up cause it is a little well a lot of off, so once I get my dash out I can start on all of that stuff and wiring up gauges and such to switches.

Until next time!

Thanks! I have been super busy the past couple of months... Just came back from Texas last week. It's nice to be back at the car again.

Now that iOS 9 has dropped I'll be busy again working some OT so I can splurge a little bit in the coming months.

Visiting this thread again,

props on the home improvements man +1. I was skimming through and thought "Wait wha tile??" It's looking really nice compared to previous photos.

Liking the Manleys I grabbed some recently, I also just went with supertech/wiseco xx rings/cleavite bearings, but I hear King bearings are also good as well.

Yeah I'm going with wiseco pistons and rings when I get the chance... Want the ACL bearings but we will see what happens when I need them. They pop up on sale every once and a while but have also heard good things about king bearings too.

Last update I swear!
I bought that thing with 4 wheels that is black.

Got it for a great deal from private party. Didn't have to go through the dealer bs

2013 mazdaspeed 3 26k on the clock

In absolute love, so now I can actually get to work on the Miata and put in those damn headlights probably tomorrow again. Dammit I woke up wanting to do that today, and figure this car was a wash but came through today so all is well now.

Until tomorrow haha
