lol I was hoping to not use any of those three items on this build

Small update, pulled the entire dash today. Slowly starting my wire tuck, partial strip and rewire. Removing all HVAC components and installing a custom blower for just the center two vents. Going to relocate my MS as well as most of after market wiring. Right now it runs under the carpet routed around the seats, this will all be moved to behind the dash.

Most the engine/drivetrain stuff is done until I get the engine back from the machine shop, which won't be fore a bit since I'm dropping it off after the 4th of July. Sooo time to knock out some of the time consuming stuff... I'm thinking the interior and engine bay are going to add up to ~80 hours or so of work.

Here I am again, late to the party. Been missing yet another epic thread, and this one even claims such in the title. Looking great so far. You are about to have two turbos more than me, in one car, which makes me twice as jealous.

Better late than never

Not exciting stuff today... but a lot of freaking work. I kept thinking I should rename this to "What have I gotten myself into..."

Alright.. on to the pics:

The monster behind your dash...

The other half.

This is after I cleaned for 30 minutes.

Post cleaning.

Mmmm.

Getting closer... or further.. I can't tell anymore.

Insides ripped out.

The other side.

Less and less in there.

This will be a street car. Not a daily driver, but a fun car to play with. Now that I am in tx I figured I'd go all out.

LS1 OEM 75mm. Few of the usual small mods done to increase flow. Ported of course. Will be getting attached to Gotpsi? intake manifold he is building for me right now

On another note just picked up my 6 speed from rharris19. Started on the VMount setup this morning with some angle grinder work

Are you sure that is going to work? Bigger is not always better when it comes to throttle bodies. Have you consulted with someone who suggested this was a good idea?

Not flaming, just seems like a lot of throttle body for a BP.

Well it is similar to the one Gotpsi? is running on his intake manifold with good results which will be very similar to the one I'm running. I think it will work just fine, but if not, easy to go smaller.

Well I felt ballsy today so I began work on the VMount setup. I have most of the cutting done. I touched it up a bit before I left but didn't grab any pics. Doesn't matter much either way since the edges will be lined with rubber to seal against the ducting. The plan is to make almost a cowl style setup. It will be sit on the IC and not not be a part of the hood. The back end will be an inch or inch and a half above the hood, and end just about where the hood is cut in the back... unless someone has a better idea. I 'm not expert, just guessing at this ****.

Anyways here are the pictures.

I'll start off with my new (to me) 6 speed.

So clean.. hoping to keep it about as clean as that as stuff goes back in.

Another for good measure.

Metal strip that sits in front of the radiator cut off, plastic bump stop (temp) removed.

Removed a portion of the black metal bracket that connects some of the bumper to the frame.

Turned out fairly even. If I got out my ruler it probably wouldn't be perfect, but close enough.

How the intercooler will fit.

Test Fit.

Test Fit.

Test Fit. Cleaned up the cuts quite a bit afterward... The picture was taken crooked also.. looks much better IRL.
