$775 shipped for me and not available.

The point is i need seat time and i'm not building this for a class. If i wanted the lightest of everything and wanted to spend money i wouldn't have started with a 2000 SE.

I'm aware of your point and it's a totally valid one. If I wasn't such a 6UL sackrider I would have done the same.

I like riding 6ul sack. I just need to save money to get the mx6 going.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww yiss.

Can't wait to post this build thread over at M.net and see what they think about a black interior in a 2000 SE.

The haul:

You can fit an entire Miata interior quite easily in a Cherokee. Probably three if you got a little creative.

There were a couple guys poking through the Miata when i first got there. They left, i cleaned house. There's nothing in the interior save for a bunch of wires. I took all the hardware as well.

Yuuuup. I'll be able to part out the tan/wood awfulness for about 2-3x what i paid for all the black stuff, too.

There was a huge line for cashier at the yard, they were frazzled. Ended up pretty much charging me for the dash, one of the three carpet pieces, and the weatherstripping. $138 out the door.

The combination of these two things makes my day that much better.

What are your plans with it?

Bulletproof hoonmobile/trackmobile.

Will eventually get a head shave, port work, SUBs, valve springs, and Megasquirt. I'd like to end up around 150-160whp, and 2100lbs and still be reasonably streetable.

I just want tons and tons of seat time and not have to plan months in advance for events. Oh there's a track day next weekend? Ok i'm in.

Glad to see it with black interior. I'd honestly only rock tan with BRG, everything else is bleehh

I really just wanted to follow the MiataTurbo circle of life.

Have/build a turbo car or two. End up with n/a car. I really just did this to fit in with the cool kids.

I'm just here to say Buy 18psi's FM exhaust and Sell me your NA Enthuza. It will continue your circle of life motif.

Fixed bucket seats: Cheap bastard who likes bolt in things edition.

Sparco Sprints? Momo Start?

With what mounts/sliders?

I do need sliders, as both myself and my wife will drive this thing. She usually sits about 2" closer than i do.

Sparco Sprints with the PCI v1 brackets?
How often will you be changing the seat position?

Sliders are convenient, but it would be impossible for me to pass a broomstick test with them.

If the v1s won't work, I'd try fabbing something up. And possibly remove the rear humps to get moar low.

Won't be changing seat position super often. Most often at autocrosses i would say. True OEM-like sliders aren't a necessity.

I'm 5'9 with a 31" inseam. Wife is 5'5". Fab isn't really an option for me, i don't do that stuff.

Do you care about comfort?

If not, then order a set of the Sparco Sprints with sidemounts. They'll bolt up to the stock sliders and for me (about 5' 8") pass the broomstick test. If you're a lot taller than that, knock out the rear humps and pick up the no rear humps seat mount kit.

PM Brian at Fab9 and I bet he'd give you a great deal on the whole mess.

If you like comfort.... don't buy the sprints. ha.
