Ill try almost anything at this point as I dont feel like blowing anything up

I can get my turbo to surge too if I try. Actually at various RPM and boost levels it will sometimes boost oscillate or make wierd chuffing noises out of the intake. Just power through it- I don't see why it would blow stuff up.

I disagree. I think you need a bigger turbo. That would be much better.

Um dude....say a turbo wheel is spinning around 125k rpms and then try and then try to forcefully spin it in the opposite direction. Boom son, boom.

My 30r is perfectly fine in 5th from 3k.
Never heard even a hint of surge.

They want to show the supercharger douchenozzles up, and get on m.net and show all of the FFS humpers that they can spool down low, because those people don't care about their car being ran by cutting edge 70's technology, and running around on the brink of detonation. Only a low boost threshold.

No joke, my engine might be shot. As i was driving home, i noticed a horrid rattling under the hood. At first i thought it might be the turbo. Nope, thats fine. Then i hoped something came loose and started rattling really bad. Nope. Now im just hoping is the water pump bearing thats shot. Idle is perfect, vacuum is perfect and it drives awesome. Ill find out saturday when i have time to look into it more. Ones thing is for damn sure though, if this engine is toast, this car is getting parted out and thats the end of it. Ill start over with another NA.

Why is it that you can boost a stock motor to the sky and it stays together but your built motor is making noise I feel like something is backwards here.

When you push the limits, bad things can happen. Hope it's something simple.

Damn. Wasn't the water pump replaced when you had the engine built?

your choices on what not to spend money on just blow me away. you have got to be the cheapest son of a #### on this site. replacing the water pump is standard fare on any engine build. you my friend, and your cheap *** penny pinching ways, are your own worst enemy. But I will give you this, just like fae, you are entertaining.

Its the SFL way!

I know a guy with a 12 car running on junkyard shortblocks carrying over all the various bits from the previous motor every time.

Gotta love the budget builds
