I actually have it zip-tied now until I get some AN fittings (or the desire to blow more money).
Yes the Adaptronic has several protection schemes, overboost is one. I think I have it set to 185kpa.

I've been driving the Miata to work the past couple of days, and I don't know how you guys do it. Maybe it's the fact that I don't have this much power at my disposal daily, but I feel like I'm going to get my license suspended very soon. Typical scenario, some guy tries to get in front to make the highway ramp first and here I am accelerating like I normally would (WOT), but you're at the top of 4th in a 60kph zone before you know it. I'm sure to a cop it would look like a contest of speed, but there was never a contest to begin with.
I have a track day coming up on Saturday, so hopefully I'll get some good video - all pending good weather. I've got a tentative date with the dyno at the end of month to tune this thing properly. I'm finding this setup a lot harder to tune on the road due to the increased power and stupid laws.
Anyway, I saw this amazing 993 Turbo of some sort last night. It sounded amazing, but it's filmed on a Blackberry. It had some bigger than normal wing with gurney flap and I couldn't read the rear decal. Looked like some 80yr old was driving it. I wish I had the Miata...

I just rode in an NB with Xida Club Sport....I'll be adding that to my list. Ignorance was bliss
The buyer of my FM exhaust was also out today. I never realized how quiet that thing was compared to my current setup.
Finally sold my stock seats today. Time to move the Sparco over to the passenger side, and make some mounts for the new Ultrashield.
I also found a good 2001 long block local to me. Do you guys think I should build the one in my car, or build this one on the side? Less downtime, I can take more time etc and etc.

Yeah that was loud. Did about 150km in the thing last night with ear plugs in. It still felt as loud as the FM exhaust with the plugs in.
The ear plugs really help isolate a lot of the excess noise and you can really hear everything else happening in the car.
I should really use my MBC and turn it up to 14psi or so. Running a hose off the WG to manifold right now. Can't imagine what it will be like.

Hmm... your 2001 would have the same specs as my 02 engine...
how much spark are you running? from my calcs i put 0.7 bar (10psi) being abour 240hp which is getting to the sketchy area... but if its not i wont bother changing my WG spring for a 0.5 bar.
