WTF is haggard garage. Sound exactly like someone or something you should not be getting advice from. Just because some single person has added a turbo to a miata without doing it smartly does not mean everyone can. I have seen 10x more blown miata motors for every 1 successful boosting that way.

Don't but a MS off eBay. You don't have the knowledge to buy the correct one there without getting fucked.

Haggard garage is a huge downgrade from "Broke and Boosted"

The knock sensor I would use for sure.
Itd be pretty cool to do flat foot shifting and having a "revlimiter"

Go here Build Threads - Miata Turbo Forum -Boost cars, acquire cats.

READ.

The fact you keep saying 'south' is disturbing.

Flat bill bro: Check out my super budget, **** box.

Bro: Wow that sure looks like a pile of ****, who built it?

Flat bill bro: Haggard garage. They kick *** and built my turbo for six bucks and a 40 of Old English.

Bro: Sik bro, sooo sick.

Again, providing that you really haven't read ****! You aren't going to build your car from videos. Well you could I guess. Good way to keep tow companies in business.

No, that's one thing about me you don't understand.

I don't take handouts. I earn my way, every step. I need something extra on the side, like you.

What do you mean, like me?

Girz0r: wow man, that was real ****... Really glad I joined this forum so I have a wayyyyyy better idea where to start. Like your guys have told me megasquirt which I have been reading into for the past hour. This is the route in which I am taking now. Just need to keep reading on installation of the ms2 or ms3x, i believe tuner studios is a great start for somebody as dumb as me. Also, just for keepsake Im doing a **** ton of research about both just to compare. I keep all my research in binders with catogory tabs sticking off the side. For now my next step is going to get a cpu unless i go with ms3x and use megatunix on my macbook. Ill keep you all updated

I am willing to believe that MS2 will probably loose update support in a year or two. Keep that in mind. Just a guess though. Just wait for, or buy now, an ms3. If you go VVT with an ms2, ow you have to add more stuff. Granted it's just another box, but it's another leak path for money.
