Well I got the 6 speed, haven't had time to mess with my car yet :(

I was going down the freeway to a Miata meet, was cruising along and a dude rolled up next to me in a Porsche and wanted to play. So I slowed down, went to 4th, went down to 3rd and it went boom when I got on the throttle. I was two hours from home, got home with only 4th. And they say twin disc ceramic clutches aren't streetable.

I sat next to you as we tuned the car without a clutch.

I think you can "street" anything

Haha yeah, but at least I could get it going in a lower gear that time. Getting this thing from a stop in 4th was not cool lol

Well I'm trying to be a cool kid and not pull the motor and just drop the tranny. So far I am hating life. Especially with the reroute, I only have one bolt to get out and it's the one under the t stat housing. I said **** it for tonight and get it done tomorrow.

You have a begi re-rout right? I found on mine that I had to disconnect the ppf and jack up the back of the tranny to tip the engine forward, otherwise the bottom bolt could not come out far enough.

I didn't find mine much more expensive than getting all those gauges i needed in quality worth a damn....

No, mine is a home made ghetto special I just pulled the CAS to get to it.

Well in my 4th gear slippage I smoked the clutches... I was hoping to drive this thing today. Oh well, they are on the way.

This weekend here in Modesto/Oakdale area is American Graffiti week, with the American Graffiti car show this weekend. If you are not familiar with American Graffiti read here, it was George Lucas' second film directing. It is based in Modesto, CA but most parts were filmed in Turlock and Petaluma because Modesto would not cooperate with the filming. The script is depicting Lucas' teenage years growing up in the '60s. Starring Ron Howard, Wolfman Jack, Harrison Ford and others. Lucas will be the Grand Marshal for this years car show.

TL;DR: All sorts of muscle cars are out and I am trolling with my 96 cubic inches of fury.

His plate read 67prost, it was a tubbed 1967 Chevelle with 396 SS badges, noisy *** fuel pumps and an all around very clean, well built car. Can't really hear him over my car, he gave me the thumbs up after.

Doesn't ms2/3 have CAN bus capability? or at least rs-232 tx? should be fairly simple to run an AIM/RacePak dash off the MS, as long as they have comms templates you won't need to run a second set of sensors, just display what the MS is reading.

That is all.

Fixed for accuracy.

Get proper tires if you want me to raise the boost any more.

Much puckering occured at 140mph when the tire decided to explode.

Sorry, no videos. It was like 102 or some **** and we did not care for anything other than just getting the thing tuned. It was interesting though that's for sure, a first for me.

Car feels good, it pulls really hard, temps are perfect, AFR's were perfect. Just not enough tire. Did a couple of pulls in 6th up to the 7200 RPM rev limit. According to the gear chart on Flyin' Miatas website that puts us at 150mph.

I was in 6th at about 6500 RPM when the right rear tire blew up.

Good times

Think of it this way. You get a chance to brush up on your repair skills.

I am glad you didn't wad it up into a little pile.
