Makes sense. I would try and call silicon intakes when they open. Last time they shipped before responding to an email of mine. Even though I sent the email right after ordering.

im sourcing the rest of my reroute pieces and im trying to find an elegant solution to the upper hose. does anyone know of an upper hose that works well with the offset radiator neck the 949 crossflow rad utilizes?
if not i am either going to use an escalade hose with a coupler and a staight section or just use a long pipe across the manifold like begi does with a 90 at the rear and a straight connector at the front.
a challenge for the forum- find me M12x1.25 barb fittings. i already made some myself, but im curious if someone can find them. my shopping/research skills are usually pretty good, but i came up empty handed. you can find M12x1.5 barbs, and 1.25 banjos, but no m12x1.25 barbs.

Go to one of your local auto parts store, the biggest around, and ask to see there hoses. Mine has them all hanging on a way. Then you can see all of them.
I just call these guys: https://www.ofsco.net and if they don't have it it probably doesn't exist.

Did you buy the hose 949 sells for that radiator? You might be able to get them to sell you the one they have in this kit separately: Miata Coolant Reroute System

the hose in emilios kit is exactly the one described by EO2K in the link i posted above. the coil in the reroute kits appears to be mild steel, EO2K found a SS for $7.

I'll send you a picture of my setup when I get home. I have a m12x1.25 to AN6, then AN6 90 adapter, then AN6-5/16th hose barb adapter, its a pretty long chain lol.
