And it's 2017 ... still no progress. Noticed I started this thread 7 years ago. Time to roll this thing into a lake. See you next year!

Still up that party? 1 year later and it's still sitting there ... mocking me.

Now that I've made some progress on the new house, got married, built the shop, retired some hobbies ... this year might be the year. Realistically, to make it a runner/driver it will take some wiring, plumbing (turbo water/oil)), and tuning. Not a huge effort, so long as I can resist scope creep (haven't been good at that so far).

Saw you started back at it - engine bay is looking great.

The hardest pill to swallow is the fact I have to fix so much deterioration because it sat so long. I don’t have an enclosed shop, but a new shop is on the to do list.

You think you are busy now, wait till you have kids. That will put a zap on motivation. Somehow I am powering through, well until May when the next one is due. Oh dear God!

Hope to see your beautiful artwork done soon.

Peeled the cover off this weekend. I'm now swallowing the hard pill too as the mothballs did not entire deter the mice and apparently the guy who cerakoted my hot parts didn't prep well because the oxidation is creeping through (fueled by mouse ****).

On the plus side, my toddler is becoming more autonomous and I've exhausted the to-do list on critical house projects meaning the 'fun' projects can return. I installed all the interior bits this weekend and started re-splicing the ECU wiring hardness which I had cut to install a ye olde timing retarding device many lifetimes ago. Small progress, but slow and steady is going to have to be the pace moving forward.
