Good news! The miata is finally back home
Bad news! Rear suspension is still apparently damaged, but was driveable.
Before, I've replaced bolts, subframe and control arms and still I have a ton of toe on the side I hit the curb with. Apparently the knuckle/upright can be bent! Who knew?
There's one thing I've never done on a miata and that's separate the rear hub from the axle. Never was able to, and also never had the need.

when I'm on E85... nothing changed, so why videos?
get bent
I thought something cast, like the knuckle, would crack vs bend. but apparently not. also I now even doubt if my control arms are bent... How do I check for squareness?
