01 green MK turbo build to K24
This is my 2nd turbo miata, first was a 93 with a custom WRX setup. Sold that car years ago and have forever missed it. Decided i wanted to find another and started searching for an NB2 with a 6 speed/torsen. This one appeared and has been in the works for the past 1 1/2 years. I had it repainted a few months ago also. Went with the standard BRG but had extra pearl and clear added. Also had the windshield surround, mirrors, front lip, rear spoiler, rear trim piece in front of decklid all painted gloss black to kind of replicate the ND club edition color scheme.
Had it dyno tuned last fall and it made 225whp / 210wtq @ 12psi on a dynojet.
MKturbo 3" turboback t3 manifold
Custom 2.5/2.0 intercooler piping bov intake
ms3x
2 gauges aem wideband boost gauge
flow force 640cc injectors
poly door bushings
boss frog frame rails
hard dog dd roll bar
paco strongarm fender brace
f.m. seat bolster bracket
tein street advance coilovers
racing beat front sway bar
15x8 TR motorsports wheels w/ all seasons
f.m. master cylinder brace
gr stainless brake lines
mishimoto radiator / low profile fans
fm1 clutch + rear main seal
f.m. pedal extension
Planning for better suspension, wheels, summer tires and new soft top in upcoming months.

Heres the progress ive made on my K24A2 swap.
Drove TSX into garage and began parting out in March.
I took the engine to a friends shop and we assembled everything KMiata recommended.
Engine ready to be installed.
Pulled Miata drivetrain and installed Kmiata subframe
Disassembled Power steering rack to fully depower.
6 speed waiting to be cut for starter
Picked up a aftermarket hardtop w/ lexan rear window. It needs some reconditioning and Ill be having a friend respray it black.
Replaced all of my stock front control arm bushings with energy suspensions urethane replacments and retired my Tein street advance coilovers with a set of brand new Xida GS coilovers.
Test fitted intake setup. Still waiting for upper radiator aluminum piping to run around intake manifold.
Majority of wiring is complete in cabin and this is how she sits as of now. Hoping in next coming week to get remaining engine components installed, wiring in cabin complete, and dash back in.
If theres anyone local in the DC metro area with a completed K swap id really like to come see your setup!
