Default 1991 Mazda Miata - $5000

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1991 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - California.

Asking price is $5000

Hi
For sale is a 1991 Miata with a Begi 4.2 turbo kit from bell engineering. I bought the car from a mechanic that had the car for 10 years. He had only put 50k miles on in the last 10 years, I've owned the car for one year, and have put on 6k miles. The chassis has 180k miles, but the head was rebuilt when the turbo was installed ~20k miles ago. The car runs great, no problems, and a lot of modifications to make sure everything runs smoothly like new fuel pump, rising rate fuel pressure regulator, new timing belt, water pump. Fuel pressure and boost gauges are installed for peace of mind that the engine is getting enough fuel at all times. The turbo that is installed on the car is both oil and water cooled, and horsepower should be 160 to the wheels. The interior and exterior are very clean. The car also comes with an aftermarket alarm system featuring remote start, window roll up, window roll down, trunk unlock. This car is extremely well sorted and is a true craigslist find. I have an extra set of keys and remote for the alarm, as well as all records for this vehicle including receipts all the parts for the turbo, waterpump, timing belt, everything. I will also be including Tokico Illumina shocks and stock NB miata top hats. I wanted to install these but never found time, so my loss is your gain. These shocks and top hat combo cost ~500 retail. I wanted to use the NB stock top hats because i wanted to maintain a stock ride height using the stock springs, but just a one inch or so drop that the top hat provides. The car sits on a set of 2001 miata wheels, 15 inch, they are very light, the correct off set and made for miatas from the factory.
Information regarding the turbo kit can be found here: http://www.miata.net/products/intex/begi.html
Information regarding the shocks can be found here: http://www.miata.net/products/chassis/tokico.html

The price is 5000 or best offer, if you don't want the shocks I can take 500 off the price.
I believe the asking price is fair, but because of the bad economy, I will take best offer.

The best way to reach me is by phone, please call 650 307-2300 for more information, the car is located in Signal Hill

Thanks for looking!

1: Go to emissions-testing facility.

2: Blow clean numbers on the roller.

3: Pass visual inspection.

4: Receive certificate.

The kit he is running has a CARB EO number (D-349 to be precise) and from his description it does not sound like he's made any upgrades or modification that would bump it out of compliance.

Curious to see if the OP ever shows up again...
