Description:
I have a 1999 Mazda Miata for sale that is in great condition. The engine has been replaced recently with an engine out of a 2001 Miata which had 85k miles ( I have the paperwork for the engine, comes with 1 year warranty on engine through the supplier). I have dyno'd the car it made 120whp 108wtrq(dynojet SAE), very strong for bone stock.

Basics:
5 speed
117k miles on chassis

This car needs nothing, it has great tires, brakes. The soft top is in good shape however the stitching has come undone on part of the top it's not torn and would be an easy fix by someone who could sew. The previous owner said the car had been repainted roughly a year ago.

Options on the car:
Power windows
Power antenna
Bose radio (CD/TAPE)
Cruise control
Fog lights
Ground effects kit
Torsen Limited slip differential.
Glass window on soft top
Nardi Steering wheel
Cold A/C!

Things replaced while engine was out:
Clutch kit
Radiator
Radiator hoses
Heater hoses
Timing belt and water pump
Spark plugs
Thermostat
Intake manifold gaskets
Exhaust manifold gasket

I have the title in hand

I thought the 99/00 block and internals were stronger. Did you swap in a vvt motor?

Sorry to be ignorant (and I'm not trying to be an *** or be offensive) here, but what do you mean by "just" the motor? Is that the block only? that looks like a 01 head to me so wouldnt you have had to replace the ecu to control vvt? I may not know what I'm looking at.

this makes a big difference to me when talking about 99/00 cars.
Thanks

Complete longblock...99 intake manifold and exhaust manifold we're reused. 99ecu.

When the VVT is unplugged it goes to full retard, so the car still makes top end power.

Car sold today.
