Exactly. At least in a Miata you can do 4th gear pulls without going too fast but in my Talon that was 120mph. Too risky, even in BFE at 1am it's not a good idea. Two pulls and you're paranoid as hell and just fudging the tuning on the way home hoping nobody saw you.

Street tuning nailed my afr too. But when I went to the dyno, backing off 4 pts. of master fuel made 10hp/ftlbs. When you're tuning on the street it's difficult to actually see what kind of difference your tuning changes make. And looking out for cops rather than egts or knock might be a questionable priority list, depending on what happens first.

i am lucky i geus no cops and i scoff at 120mph the limit is 55 right off my driveway anyway, so i could use 2nd gear in theory.
