hey guys im woking on some intercooler mounting on my 91 miata with ac and PS adn the ac drier can is in the way i am wanting to mount it sideways where it is now and i will need 2 90 degree elbows to do this i will just bend the right line down a little bit to screw on to the 90 deg!
so if anyone knows what thread type that is or has a link to that part it would be so helpful! orr if there is a relocate kit anywhere!?

AKA not getting a smaller intercooler for the main reason that i have this one lol

When I had a Vibrant, I relocated my drier to behind the radiator. You will have to recharge your A/C after doing this. From the condensor, there is the drier, then a hardline which then connects to the high side (skinny tube) that connects to your evaporator through the firewall.

Condensor->drier->hardline->evaporator line

flip flop the hardline and the drier. This will require some careful bending, but you will have plenty of tube to use, just don't kink it with tight radius bends. Point the hardline on the condensor downward to help gain some clearance. replace your o rings.

Sorry for the crum pictures, just ran out to snap them. Here is the line on the condensor pointing downward instead of toward the hood latch (and normally where the drier would go)

The hardline is the straightened out a bit and wraps around to the back of the radiator.

Here is the hardline banking around the condenser mount

Finally I pirated a the radiator mounting bracket bolts to hold the drier. I switched to an NA8 since converting to r134A, I had to drill the mounting tab and space it out with a couple washers. All the connections for this series is 16MO male/female so if you want to go to a hydraulic shop, getting a custom line might be cleaner.

Relocating is all gravy, but do not do this. Leave it in the upright position, it will not function properly (or even at all) if it is not mounted upright.

Yea, sideways is not going to work for this style drier. You can probably search for a horizontal application, but good luck with fittings. At that point just get rid of A/C and get a comfy car for daily.
