Does anyone know approximately how much power the Begi Shanghai S1 kit is capable of producing with the T25/T28 and the 2871? Would injectors and a fuel pump be necessary with either of these turbos? I'm going to be using a DIYPNP for the EMS system and I'm just trying to determine what else I should be ordering (aside from an upgraded clutch).

Get the injectors, because you will want them. My injectors were maxed when i was running 6psi. Fuel pump is fine. Get the larger turbo, I got the smaller, and am left wishing I would have got a 2871. Edit, i think the smaller one is good 200-220ish, and i think the 2871 is for about 280 ish.

The T25/T28 Hybrid is capable of producing 220-240 whp, depending upon gas octane, engine management, and exhaust system. We have a T2871 we will be testing on a '99 soon, as soon as the Adaptronic is fixed. More info soon!

Your engine management choice will dictate your injector size. If you use the Greddy EMU or Zoom3, you can use stock or larger injectors. The stock ones cannot support more than 210 whp to 8 psi though. If you used an Xede, you do have to use larger injectors. The MS PNP can be used with stock injectors too, but having a little extra injector is a not a bad thing. An in tank fuel pump is not necessary at those power levels. If you were to run over 240 whp, or the stock pump was hurt, then I would replace it. Must use the install kit on the NB Miatas though.

I'll be using a DIYPNP (I'm in on the group buy) for engine management. I want to run low boost while I'm learning how to tune the DIYPNP with an LC-1 and ultimately want anywhere from 250 - 300 whp. I guess I should upgrade to the 2871 and the larger intercooler when I place my order, as well as order some injectors, correct? I plan on placing an order in the first week of October, how long does it typically take to get a kit shipped out?
