Broken manifold stud
I was doing the double nut method and the first three worked just fine... then the last one... I don't know what happened.
I was cranking it down and it just stopped. I didn't think the stud was all the way in, so I put my back into it and crushed the threads together on the 1st nut. The second nut came off easy, but the first one was seized. I backed the stud out with it in place... then tried everything to get it off.
I finally broke out the dremel and cut the nut in half to get it off. Very wierd. The threads were totally destroyed and you can see the Vice-Grip marks where I tried to hold it. So, I need a new stud. I don't suppose they sell these at HomeDepot or Pep Boys?
Sorry about the blurry shot and pink background.

ACE only had standard stuff... but I found them at Advance (about a 2 minute walk from my house) of all places. M8x1.25. I'll have to Dremel a few threads off one end as both ends are the same length. Now, just need an appropriately sized oil drain barb and it'll be ready.
