99 Turbo
Well its done, and been done for a while now. After trail and error, and just plain not listening and being the hard head that i am, it finally works. It started out its boosted life at 210k and is now at 221k. The stock Sr20 2554 spools like mad with very little effort and is a blast to drive. This is my First Miata i have messed with so guys bear with me, so, what i have in it so far is : 15" Axis Wheels 20 offset, 205/55/15 BridgeStone Re-11a's, V-Maxx Coil Overs, Racing Beat Front and Rear Sways, Adjustable Sway Links, REV Built MS3, STI 440cc Injectors, Walbro 255lph, SR20 2554@12psi, Built by me manifold Scheduled 40(Because stupid me didn't listen and used stupid BEGI Knock off which caused more drama than i wanted and or needed, LISTEN NOOBS!), and yes, (Criticism Expected) Lightweight Flywheel Stage 3 Clutch Kit from Fleebay which has surprisingly Worked very well (Just because it has worked well for me doesn't mean it will for others!). The best the car has ran is 13.9@98 :( with a still open 4.3 diff but oh well. Its not the Cleanest install, and still has some cleaning up to do but it works. And no my manifold is not the prettiest and still needs to be wrapped but it works.
And here is my current timing map, hopefully there is still room for improvment :

Good job.
Definitely needs a whole lot of cleanup, but it appears you have more or less ended up with the "proven" simple setup.
when you say sti 440, do you mean wrx top feed 440 "green" injectors? got a picture? I ask because while many have discussed it, not many have run these specific injectors on a miata. I understand they're a few mm shorter?

Yes, the injectors came from an 02 model and ill correct my self here, just a plain WRX not an STI, my mistake. They are Greenish/Teal in color. The are a tad shorter and i had to get some injector hats to make up the difference, they are also PNP. K Tuned Fuel Injector Top Hats for RDX Injectors Honda B D Motors Civic Integra | eBay . After that Autozone has an injector o ring kit in the "help" section you will need to make them work and the part number is 90100. Next to biggest flat o ring goes on injector first(only reason to use this O Ring is to keep the injector centered/Stable inside the hat) then biggest o ring in kit were the OEM o ring would have gone on. Use some lube and squeeze the hats on top of injector(fits fairly tight). You will still have to space the fuel rail out from the factory location and trim some casting material off the upper plenum in the front of the fuel rail area to get everything to fit right(May not need to adjust fuel rail height if the proper length hat can be found). But does not leak. The Dead Times on these injector are fairly high so if you dont set them right you Fuel VE #'s on your table are gonna be through the roof. I have some pictures and i will work on finding them and getting them posted. But i will say, unless you can get these injector cheap like i did it may not be worth it. I paid $40 for injectors, $30 For the Hats and $10 For the O Rings. Total of $80
These are the only pictures i have found so far :
Looks like this when fitted :
This is the area that needs some trimming if done like i did, Below the bracket, Where what looks like a FP Damper is bolted to the Fuel Rail:

Ill work on my cleaning up part when I replace my engine. Im working on a Semi-built Kia Sephia Short Block with a BP4W head. Early BP 9:1 Stock 20 Over NPR Pistons, APR Head Studs, Ebay H Beams, Full 3" exhaust (since im still 3" from turbo to underneath drivers seat and from there 2 1/4 back), and since I snagged it dirt cheap ill use an ebay SR20 2871 and see if it hold up.

yeah I don't think anyone tried NPR pistons on a turbo build here before.
I'm not sure I'd wanna be a guinea pig for something like that. everyone is convinced they are weaker and inferior to even the stockers
don't forget that if they fail, you will be loosing a whole lot more money overall
