Default PC-Pro vs Voodoo Card

I don't know if you all get on Miata.net much put I posted up the same thing. Figure some of you DIY might want to hear about my luck with the PC-Pro.

I had the pleasure of trying out the PC-Pro on my Voodoo turbo car. Tom was generous enough to send me one for free and told me if it works keep it if not just send it back. Well the hardest part of the installation was trying to take off the clips from my Voodoo card lol. Once it was removed the PC-Pro just simply plugged in and fits nicely in the fuse box cover. The first thing I noticed was the improved throttle response. When I barley got on the throttle at around 3k the car just felt a lot more responsive. I have gotten to put about 500 miles on the car with the PC-Pro and I'm impressed to say the least. My favorite thing about the whole piggy-back swap is I'm able to run 8psi with no ping at stock timing. The butt dyno says there is some more power I'm guessing from the added timing. I'm also amazed that it can hold a FLAT A/F curve because with my Voodoo card it would jump slightly (Maybe from the VVT?) When I first got it going it was running slightly rich at the bottom of the range. I emailed Tom about that and he said just call him and he would tell me how to adjust it. I actually saw how to adjust it on the website and it was a breeze just push a couple buttons and your set. I think I have it pretty much dialed in perfect. Also whats cool is you can adjust the entire curve up or down. That might come in handy when I put some race gas in I can't wait until the drag strip opens up and I can try for a new best.
