Junkyard run
I'm making a junkyard run this weekend for some odds and ends for my other car, but since I'm planning on boosting the ol' Miata on a budget soon (sooner the better) I'll have my eye out for turbo related bits as well. So, anything I should add to the list to keep an eye out for?
Turbo in decent shape
Intercooler (and a few pipes maybe)
Injectors, probably from an old Toyota
Rear-end (doubt the ladies at a junkyard are worth looking at though...wait...differential...)
Hoses maybe? (braided oil lines?)
Probably won't com back with a darn thing, but hey...it's worth keeping an eye open. Anyway, let me know if I'm forgetting something a junkyard may have. Thanks!

never been to a junkyard, there doesn't seem to be too many near me, i think it would be fun to poke around in some engines and stuff. if you find a 1.8 miata there's probably a tons of stuff you could get. differential, driveshaft, axles, 1.8 brakes, rx7 afm, injectors, turbo, maybe even some wastegate actuators, bypass valves. another 1.6 fuel rail for dual feed mod

No miata's there...already checked. Plus, I have an RX7 AFM.
Actually, it's pretty cool. The place has their car inventory posted online, so I've been checking as to whether there are cars with potential pieces. Seems like they have a few old SAAB turbos, as well as a few old Volvo turboed hulks, not to mention a bunch of DSM stuff.
Good call about the bypass valves and 1.6 fuel rail!
Also, if anybody is looking for some random part, let me know and I can keep an eye out for you.

If it's a newer car and the engine is clean, maybe... but most turbo's still attached to those old as **** Volvo's, Caravans, and maybe some K-car types will be completely rusted over and not worth the effort. Just in case, take some PBBlaster and a breaker bar. I've got a PnP here in VaBch I hit every couple of months just for fun.
I'm looking for a radiator hose, 1.25" ID, about 14" with a 90* bend at the end.

Ben: it's called Pull-A-Part (www.pullapart.com). There's one in Conley, one in Norcross; I may hit up both. If you know of others, please, let me know!

There's 2 (or maybe 3?) different yards not too far from me. I'm in Hoschton, which is in between Dacula and Braselton, kind of the other side of Gwinnett Co from Norcross. They are waaayy larger than the lot i saw in the pullapart page.
Sorry, I'm not cool enough to know their names. Stay on Hwy 29 North out of Norcross (going away from atl) and go through Auburn. There's one or two pullaparts on the right followed by one on the left. They have large signs on the side of 29 that show you where to turn. It's a solid 50 minutes from Norcross if there's no traffic. I used to go to the one on the right all the time with my dad. It is a treasure trove of muscle car parts--or atleast was a few years ago when we used to go monthly.
If you want to hook up on the venture, let me know. BTW, if you run into an rx7 maf I want it.

I'm up for larger lots, assuming that they have newer stuff too. Supposed to be good weather on Saturday too. Sounds like I have a fun day beginning to flesh out...
PM me if you want to join in the fun.

93LE:
I passed one of the yards today. 29N to Old Freeman Road in Dacula (not as far as Auburn).
I'd like to go, but I had ACL surgery a few weeks ago and I still can't walk on uneven ground. If you come up this way, let me know and I'll show you a back road or two and we can grap some lunch.
