Default Used Kit (Experienced advice needed)

New to the forum, and relatively new to miatas.
To make the long story short, this is what I found on local craigslist:

"Selling my turbo kit out of my 97 1.8l miata
Bought the car know nothing about turbo so I pulled it out
Has the piping, blow off valve, turbo and intercooler.
Not sure if it will fit other cars.

Looking to get $200obo
Email me or text me"

I texted the dude, asked for the info. He again claimed that he knows nothing about the turbo.
He said that the turbo itself is by Garret (which made me thinking FM kit).
And this is the picture he sent me

I Just want a response from someone who does turbo miatas ( thats why I am on miataturbo duuh)
Someone who bought complete kits as well as assembled kits from different sources from what some of you might call (junk).
Someone who can tell me ok it's this and that set up, this and that IC, and this is the parts, you will need to make it any roadworthy, for approximately this amount of money considering my region.

Hope to get some responses

Thanks

Pasha

Needs a manifold and downpipe, at least. Also, some sort of fuel management.

Hmm is this everything? The intercooler looks like it would fit however i dont see a manifold or a downpipe so it looks like u're on ur own there. Also need more info on the turbo it self.

Definitely doesnt look like an fm kit though. Nor a begi kit nor any other kit. The goofy looking throttle body piping is key.

Wonder how he "pulled it out" and can now run his car with the turbo manifold and downpipe. Doesn't pass the smell test.

Buy buy buy!

Joking. Not really though. Looks like a good deal for a $200 intercooler kit. The turbo....looks sketchy. We'll always say "don't build a setup around a single piece". In this case the turbo. But maybe you'd get lucky and a $750 fm turbo/downpipe set would bolt on.

Does it come with a manifold and downpipe?

Thnx for all of the input guys.
In MA it is typical to find parts dirt cheap in Rhode Island and New Hampshire. While New Hampshire does just fine, Rhode Island brings some parts that I have never seen before. I guess it applies to the miata parts too.
So not worth it?

P.S. Anyone on here from New England?

Get more info on the turbo it self. I'd at least check it out. If the turbo is good... aka spins ok and no wheel play and has any info on it that alone is worth 200.

Hard to tell but it looks like a Saab turbo based on the hump and long studs on the t2 flange?
I made a manifold/ downpipe for one of those recently.
