Default Twin scroll turbo header

Just saw this header.

Its in the development process right now for the company in UK that I was going to buy my TD04L headers from. Word is the final product will have T2 flanges on it. Just curious what you guys thought of this and what twin scroll turbo would work best for < 250HP insta spool goals ( for autox). Or am I better off just sticking to the TD04L route ?

Thanks!

header. singular. not plural.

But looks interesting either way. I'd also be curious how many TS T2 housings are out there, cause I'm not aware of many at all.
It looks like a combination of BEGi and TSE, lol

*edit: also isn't that pairing incorrect? 1+4 and 2+3 is how it should be.

Pairing is wrong for twin scroll and the divider does not go all the way to the flange will will negate any twin scrollness it might have

Proper twinscroll: http://www.absurdflow.com/miata/stdt...stdtsshort.jpg

The pattern for a cast twinscroll manifold with proper pairing is extremely expensive.

G19 Engineering - MX-5 > MX5 Turbo Evolution2 Manifold and Down Pipe Combination Mk1/Mk2/Mk2.5 1800cc.

Not G19. I didn't notice any of those things you guys mentioned. Glad I brought this to the pro's. Its still in development so those issue might be fixed eventually but I'll stay away for now.

Mainly out of curiousity now, assuming that was a decent twin scroll mani, is there a turbo out there that matches well to it and fits my goal of < 250hp with 'instaspool' ?

My guess is that its not meant to be a true twin scroll. Between the mismatched runners, and total lack of T2 twin scroll housing, maybe its just some sort of flow modifier.

Designed to keep pulses from 1 and 4 from just running from one end of the log to the other?

Yeah, never seen a t2 turbine housing as a TS.
