Question about my dyno results
Hey guys, at my dyno today I made 178 hp (6500 rpm) and 177 lb ft (~5250) on a 1.6l, is it odd to have the hp and tq max around the same? I mean I was running pig rich (had the settings in megatune wrong so I tuned it thinking I was leaner than I was), but where is my horsepower? any tuneing tips? Is it the poor flowing head?

Depends on the turbo, octane, head flow, how you're tuned, etc. My old .48/.49 T25 made near equal torque. the 2554 I have now usually makes around 20-25whp more. Water injection or 93 octane would probably close that gap to 10.

93 octaine, .63 a/r, stock engine. guess when I get water injection working ill be makeing even more =P. I guess raiseing the boost is in order, I want to break the 200 whp mark.

u also made your hp on the lower side, closer to 5250 RPM, which is where every single car will have torques and hp that equal because the equation for hp is:
(Torque * RPM)/5250
and if you dont make much more hp after that point, then yes they will be close.
