Update on my 1999 Mazdaspeed 10th Anniversary.
Just letting you guys know how the car is running. I'm running the wastegate preset of 7-8 psi and the car pulls exceptionally well. However, my custom intake proved heatsoaked after two hard runs, so I went back to the factory air box and snorkle, definitely drop in torque but along goes the predetonation at 6000 rpm's and up.
Currently i'm running the mazdaspeed turbo kit with voodoo card fuel management, 6 degrees BTDC on static timing, a set of BKR-7E sparkplugs. No prob with predetonation, just very smooth power. In sixth gear, maximum boost of 7-8 psi is achieved at 2700 rpms...
