The saab 900 turbo comes with a Garrett charger.
A local is parting it out and wondering if you guys recommend picking up the turbo. Hes letting it go at a VERY attractive price.

I stand corrected, is this what it looks like? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-98...spagenameZWD1V
Dude, Railz... seriously man, did you google this thing or not?
If you just type "1986 Saab 9000 turbocharger" into Google, about 30 seconds worth of looking will tell you it's a Garrett TB043. The TBO typically indicates an OEM model of a T3 series turbo.
During that painfully long 30 second search, I also found this:
GARRETT Turbo TB0343 for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand
So now you know what the thing looks like.
It's a small T3, nothing special. On a 1.8litre motor, it'll probably spool around 3500-4000 rpm with a decent manifold and big exhaust and max out in the 16-17psi range and be good for 275whp give-or-take.
