Does the emb have a built in memory in the case of loss of power? My battery ran dead from not running the miata for too long, and turned out to be a bad battery so bought a new one and she's running again but i wanna make sure the good work turbochargers.com did on my emb isn't all lost....

Yes. You can remove it from the car altogether and it will retain its memory. All tuning settings are stored in EEPROM. If you installed it correctly, the power to the EMB is cut off entirely when the key is switched off.

I'm not aware of any aftermarket ECU that requires battery power to retain its memory.
