Thumbs up Final tuning results w/ 315cc's and Pump-91

Good morning everyone. I realize that this is my first post, so here is a short intro preceding my thread content lol: My name is ALan, and I am a Super Senior at SDSU. I am a street tuner from the 3/S [3000GT/Stealth] platform and am planning to hopefully add my Garrett SR20 T25 real soon.

Anyway, I finished tuning the car with a higher 7500 rev limit, EMU, Denso "Supra" 315cc's, and Cali Pump-91:

The head was "refreshed" by the second-to-last PO, and I completed all necessary maintenance before finally deciding to tune it more aggressively.

Hi, looks good to me. Will be interesting to see how you get on with the turbo.

Sorry to hijack the thread some what but I was after some help with the 315cc injectors please see:

Thanks Mark. I will check out your thread later on today and provide any feedback that I can.

Aside from having most of my turbo setup pieced together, I was recently able to tune for 12-13* BTDC. My third gear pull beyond factory RL actually leaned out a hair to 12.5+, so I adjusted the injectors' cycle accordingly. Other than that, it is rock solid. I have considered using the EMU's analog output as a narrowband "O2 clamp" for later since the MX-5's CL battle is pretty unusual to see even with enriched tip-in duration extended.

Anyway, I will have some coverage posted up later when I get around to it.

What do you mean leaned out to 12.5? You're NA, 12.5 is perfectly safe if not still a bit on the rich side.

Yes, that is common tuning knowledge. I want to be on the "safer" side since summer is in full effect here in SoCal. Half a point is nothing substantial anyway coming from a prior 13:1. Besides, I am done "testing waters" and will be saving the beatings for dialing-in boost. Thanks for chiming in though!

Makes sense. If you were tuning for all out power I would go a hair leaner but if you're just biding the time till boost I guess it's all good.
