Default What is this, and where do I buy one?

My new motor is almost done, but I evidently have a part missing from the 01 VVT valve cover that I bought. I do not have a pic yet, as I am at work. I will post one up when I get home.

I have a round hole, about the size of a quarter, on the top rear passenger side of my valve cover. Around it, is a machined triangle shaped area. What goes there? Does anyone have one for sale?

Thanks

Does your head have vvt? that would be where the solenoid goes.

passenger side rear is the cam sensor, not the VVT anything.

If you're using some other form of engine management, you may not even need it, but you will need to plug the hole.

did they change the cam sensor from the front of the pass. cam to the rear of the pass. cam when they added VVT? I would have thought it to the oil feed port for the VVT; but i've still got a lot to learn about the 01+ engines.

Yep, it's for the cam sensor. They moved it to the back.

ok I'm home, I found the damaged valve cover from my donor car. It's this thing that I'm pointing to in the picture. What is it? It does not seem complete, looks to be broken.
