Default Cheep Exhaust any good?

Hey guys i was messing around on the net the other day, and found this cat back, http://www.slickcar.com/productdetai...roductID=10893...... its extreemly cheep and being im on a budget build, i might try it out.... worse case senario i figure i could always use the already bent piping and weld in a new muffler and still come out ahead. Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of, used, or seen this set up, or just ur general opinion.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

This is one of those situations where you should just buy it without asking and post up later saying. Hey i bought the cheap *** exhust and installed it on my car and (insert opinion/review here) blah blah bla bla blah!

Pass. An exhaust shop could do it cheaper. Just find a good deal on a muffler.

Whats up with that though. Theres a muffler then a can. Weird.

Go with this ^ You will be happier and probably come out cheaper.

That looks a lot like the Tsudo exhaust. They sound OK but are inadequate for a turbocharged car. They start at 2.25" and step up to 2.5 after the first flange.

As others have said, just go to an exhaust shop. You'll probably pay around $300 for a reasonable catback with strait through mufflers

I don't know where you guys get your exhausts made, but how would a muffler shop exhaust with mandrel bends and the whole shebang of tip, cannister, resonator, and hangers come out cheaper than 180?
Just a regular magnaflow cannister is from 85-100
I welded mine together myself and it came out more and that's not counting gas, wire, and my time/labor.

It will be more than that. Only way to get under that is buying a used muffler amd having it done with crush bent mild steel. Mine was ~$150 for 2.5", and I brought them the tip and muffler.

I had my local exhaust shop weld up a cat-back 2.25" exhaust, I supplied the muffler, they charged me $100. Has worked great the past couple years.

have you found out what kind of material is inside the muffler? That makes a difference as well.

I had a tsudo exhaust on my car before the turbo (and during for a little while) it was very quiet and fit well but didn't have the flow needed

Magna flow can 70-100$ + local muffler shop labor 150-200$ mild steel of course not many bends in miata exhaust system shouldn't cost that much.
