My lifters are louder than my exhaust. Nothing helps them.

Have ya'll done the ATF flush? I did it two years ago with the first oil change and now I don't get tick without lots and lots of idling.

I don't run t6 though, I run 0W-40 mobil 1.

Damn that's not what I was hoping to hear. Does taking them out and cleaning them help?

I've had good results with T6 for street but I am sending my first track analysis in next week so we'll see. Always comes back with higher Zinc than "average" though. Some say the Castrol Edge stuff is better for high RPM use...I'll only test that theory if Blackstone tells me that T6 is not good for what I'm doing

Really? I'll have to do some more research then. This is probably a stupid question, but how do you test your oil for that stuff?

So I'm assuming you have to send them a sample of the dirty oil?

Uhhhhhh . . . like . . . that's why we use it. You do know that the Zinc is an additive, your engine isn't making it?

Lies. The ones from Hustler's colon are smooth and quiet. Well, they squeel a bit, but they don't tick.

I guess the word though didn't really belong there lol

Yes, I'm aware that Zinc is just an additive, and that my engine is not somehow making it. I'm just re-affirming the points which were made before about T6 having all those goodies in it.

Word to the wise, their Facebook is Blackstone Laboratories. Every time I searched Blackstone Labs to try and get in touch, I found the meatheads
