Default CP piston ring gap

I'm trying to figure out the right ring gap for my CP pistons on a stock (3.268"), 83mm bore VVT motor.

Carrillo says (bore * 0.0055") for boosted application, which calculates to .018" top and for bottom rings they say to run it at .004 - .008 more on bottom and the bottom rings are already .023-.024"

the only other place that says to run a smaller ring gap for the top is on forums but not for these specific pistons and rings.
All my teachers who build motors with these pistons say they run an even top and bottom ring gap and for a daily driver that'll see autocross and some track days I'm
just reaching out to see if anyone else with cp pistons have run the recommended cp sizing on their motor and how they use it.

I don't exactly recall my gaps but the 2nd ring sounds about right, I think my top ring was closer to .021". The information is buried in my bulid thread somewhere, I followed the CP instructions for high boost applications.
