Rx8 Yellow injectors
I think that @14 psi will get me the 275 wtq(on a mustang dyno @4600' elevation) carrot im chasing. (godspeed t3/t4, cast manifold, 2.5" turbo back, MSPNP2)

More boost at 3500rpm = more air at 3500rpm = more power at 3500rpm... you seem kind of stupid.
No idea if I make more power up top. I'm limited by rods.
If you don't care about spool run a giant turbo and make more power.

Then you tried to mouth off to andrew when he pointed out how silly that was.
You just MIGHT have been able to do that on e85, running astronomical timing and as much boost as possible in the midrange. But 440's will top out at 200 on e85, and you're not getting there on pump gas with that mod list.
So yeah......

Why don't you prove yours. Show me dyno plots back to back of a 300whp BP not losing power going from 3" to 2.5"

275wtq on a mustang dyno (assuming it's not calibrated to the moon) at 4600 elevation is serious power. It would have to make 316wtq on a dynojet, which means it will have to make at least that much power, usually 20 more.

OP- the idea that a 3" exhaust connected to a 2.5" turbine outlet is flawed. You're right that 2.5 is smaller. But if you run a 2.5" pipe all the way back, and measure the backpressure at the outlet of the turbine, and then do the same test with a 3" pipe all the way back, the 3" pipe will show less backpressure on the turbine. Less backpressure will mean a higher mass flow rate at a given boost level, thus more power and better spool. Sure going from a 3" to 8" exhaust won't make much difference for the reason you mentioned, but going from 2.5" to 3" is well-proven to be worth it.
