Extrude Honing is somewhat expensive and the flat top is already somewhat oversized for most Miatas

It would be nice to get more info out of Skunk2 and Project-G (I believe there black NA is bing used) on the upcoming manifold being produced, but everyone is being pretty tight lipped.

Just as a data point my 01 would run like Emilio described when cold for about the first 1-2 miles. It might be different OEM tunes to play here.

What info is there atm? I haven't heard anything about this new manifold.
I'm running a Skunk2 Ultra Street with the flange cut off and a new one welded on. It would be very easy for Skunk2 to release something similar. Performance gains over a stock NA8 manifold where massive.

Just that it is in the works, I've seen vague pictures, it utilizes the ultra street top with an entirely different lower half. Production is to start sometime in the next 2-3 months.

That's a shame, because it should.

It's made to put the TB back in the factory location.

Prefer Madjak's iteration.

Also because it's easier to see what's going on with his. We don't know much about the Junk2 unit, so i don't know if i want it yet. I do know i want his setup, though.

What's the holdup? He has laid the necessary groundwork.

I want whatever works best and doesn't cost a boatload. Oh reliable too.

Time is the holdup. And that i need a clutch first because my obscenely powerful 110whp car has overwhelmed my clutch.

Took 3 pulls on stock manifold.&nbsp; Removed the VTCS butterflies and the shaft, used JB to close up the holes, and smoothed them up.&nbsp; Took 3 pulls.&nbsp; No change in peak hp, no change in plot shape, nothing.&nbsp;</p>
