As for Autocross, if you're running a turbo then you're already in SM2 (or SSM, or whatever the hell I have to change my sticker to now) where pretty much anything is legal so long as the block says "Mazda" on it somewhere.

That said, I'm not a huge fan of Nitrous on the street. Too finicky, and I hate the idea of having a power-adder that requires constant refilling at a shop I have to drive 20 miles to get to.

Nitrous is for the dragstrip. Period.

Nitrous works very well with turbo cars, flattens out the power band drastically.
However i would not pay the 600 + install + 30$ a bottle unless i was going to see a decent increase in peak power. If you are going to hit it wih a 50 shot then do that but dont shut it off at 4500rpms, its tq that kills motors anyway so dont think that by not spraying it up in the higher rpms you are saving the motor. As previously stated nitrous is not something you are gonna wana use on a road course or autocross track, it does good on the strip though.

The only thing that gives it away are the slicks and parachute lol. His exact words " I will be driving this to every meet next year"

Its registered/tagged and technically street driveable.
