Rafa - consider a "fail safe" tstat if you're replacing it. It'll fail open so it doesn't restrict the flow when it does fail. I know must of us watch our gauges, but if somebody else was driving the car it might save it from overheating. Just a thought.

What would you consider a "fail safe" tstat Rob?

Does anyone have a 1.6 coolant housing lying around? I can't find the one I had and I can't move the hose until I change that housing.
