Farmed Terramorphous The Invincible about 40 times this weekend, Pyro Pete The Invincible maybe 20 times. The Warrior 10ish times, Bunk3r 5ish times.

I'm decked the **** out now.

Level 54 Commando, i now have "Slayer of Terramorphous" legendary class mod, "Flame of the Firehawk" shield, and pretty much an entire backpack full of orange, pink, and teal weapons/shields/grenades.

I am unstoppable. 86k shield, 150k health.

Anyone at ALL playing on PS3 still so we can totally be bros and i can show off my swag?

Terrible pic. I leveled up right after this. I switched some **** around, but i'm back at 231k total between health and shield.

I need to re-assign my skill points to take full advantage of the class mod. This shield is ******* rad. I just run in, beast on dudes, let them take out my shield, then laugh as everyone burns to the ground with the huge continuous fire novas the shield does.

Got a new grenade mod that deals shock damage on an enormous scale. Direct hit of the main unit will pretty much one-hit kill anything that isn't a boss (and will get some of them.) Upon explosion, it shoots 7 other mine-like things. They seem to be dealing about 217k when someone gets near them.

Ran through about 80% of Captain Scarlet's expansion yesterday in 4 hours.

This grenade mod is fun. Let me solo Terramorphous in under 2 minutes.


This thing RIPS through loaders.


Super fun for large targets. Accuracy is awful, but lots of damage.


This thing gets a bit out of control with the other damage buffers i tend to run. I've got +18% through badass points, +35% through my Blood of the Seraphs relic, huge damage ramps from my skills tree, moreso if i just killed something else, and i've been rolling around with either Inflammable The Bee amp shield or another bigger but slower amp shield i have. I've seen a few 2mil+ hits.



How i'm rolling now: 89k shield, 294k health. (Actually out of date... i leveled again about 20 minutes into UVHM.)




I just finished up TVHM mode. Cleared every last mission (including all expansions), defeated (solo'd) every last raid boss, including the hidden one in Hammerlock's expansion, Dexiduous the Invincible. Dexiduous dropped a Chopper machine gun. Has a 1295 round clip, and you can't stop it. Hit trigger once, and it dumps the whole thing, fire rate is 18, which is nuts.


Started UVHM, and it's pretty ridiculous. Getting 2kxp from killing ******* bullymongs in the first missions.

I'm afraid to get back into it and have it all be wasted when 2 comes out. But man this game is fun.

All the red words in gun descriptions scare me. Never know if it's going to be a good one or a bad one. Like the french saying "this is no sniper rifle!"

The french saying is correct.

It doesn't have a scope. It's more like a single slug shotgun that just happens to use sniper ammo.


The red text on the grenade mod totally didn't prepare me for what it actually does. You throw one, it hits the ground, and then it erupts like... 8 more out in a circle around it. Each one does the same amount of damage. It's completely obscene, and if you have 8-10 going at once to take down Hyperius The Invincible, sometimes the game will totally freak out, lock up, and you have to restart.

Speaking strictly from experience.

Where is all this awesome end-game content? (Spoon feed question...sorry). I've got a lvk 50 mechromancer and I've only played the base game and "Tina's Assault on...". I bought some game of the year edition that was supposed to include all the expansions and extra content but Steam hasn't downloaded all the DLC or something??

Still having fun playing this stupid game tho

Download all the DLCs! The expansions are the **** and where all the actual challenging bosses are. (Save for Terramorphous.)

There's the normal bosses in each expansion, then a raid boss.

The Ancient Dragons of Destruction

Whatever boss was in Max Moxxi's Wedding Day Massacre (don't remember this one being hard)
Tinder Snowflake (not hard)


The last 5 are from the Headhunter Packs and not what i'd call actual raid bosses, they're fairly easy to solo.

Any of the others in the expansions are a bitch to solo in TVHM, let alone UVHM. I've solo'd Hyperius a few times in TVHM, Dexiduous once, Pete a couple times, and they all wreck my **** in horrible fashion in UVHM.

They're all still worth soloing on TVHM. Usually drop some cool stuff.

You should be able to solo all of them at level 50 except for maybe Master Gee.

By the time you get to them you'll be leveled up, though.

Started the game over on UVHM. ****'s ridiculous. Leveling up like crazy! Halfway through level 62 now.

Grabbed this for ***** and giggles while i was in a group. Sold it for monies. (have north of $50mil now)

I'm level 66 now on BL2, starting to get ridiculous. Rolling around with almost 1 million hit points between shield and health.

Another two levels and deploying my twin-gun'd turret will cause a tactical nuclear explosion.


Installed Borderlands The Pre-Sequel last night and played for about an hour. It's different and interesting. Don't like it as much as BL2 so far, but it's still solid. Will probably go back to BL2 to get to level 72 and declare it "done" for awhile so i can start ripping through the new one.

On Chapter 3, level 7 of the new one. Not sure how much i'm liking the low gravity and vacuum things.
