I played the demo last night, and for how limited it is, I found it great fun, I can see this game being epic and lots of fun in final form, really cannot wait, will have some serious longevity too.

When I spun out in the Subaru I couldn't stop laughing. I'm going to waste so much time on this game.

Can't believe how fun it was trying to set a hot lap in a m5 with slow *** hatch backs on the race line. Was all counter steer and POWER!!!!. Had a o **** moment when i came over a hill and there was a 3 wide slow cars doing 1/2 my speed. slammed into the back of the middle one and rolled the car.

I chased you in rival mode for about an hour last night, that was a fast lap. they also got the mid-engine feel right in the Zonda, you can trail brake soooo hard.

Going 120mph with a 60mph closing rate, going 4-wide over hills through turns is scary. On several occasions I thought, "there's no way in hell I'd ever do that IRL."

I love that vid but it's like Michael J Fox with the steering inputs.

After playing a **** ton of F3, I have to agree with what Hustler and Bryce have said. It's pretty good, but feels quite a bit different than F3. I like that the brakes aren't so damn touchy anymore. I felt like I could barely touch them before or they'd lock up (I have the MS wireless wheel & pedals). Still not sure if it's good enough to buy over F3 though. I'm not entirely sold on it.

Also, those rival time trials are a pain in the *** with the goddamn rolling road blocks everywhere. How the **** did some of those people get those fast times in that traffuck? Retarded.

I downloaded the demo, and I think I liked the Cougar most of all. I really like how you can feel the understeer a bit more then you could in the last game. I also like how "professional" is actually hard, I haven't been able to win the Impreza race on pro yet.

I sold FM3 and pre-ordered FM4. Did any of you queens get the Limited Collectors Edition?

I managed 5th on my first try with the Ferrari on professional, 5 seconds beyond the leader. Got depressed and shut it off.

At my buddies I set CORs quickest Ferrari time as my ghost. It was 5 seconds faster and on the racing line around the whole track. Got a little closer after I spent some time on it at home.

24* temps on the track

Do you use any driver aids? About all I used were showing the braking zone since I wasn't familiar with the track and the best I could manage was 2nd on any of those races on professional.

Yeah, with a controller I find it nessecary to use ABS, traction control, stability control, and an automatic. I'm still learning the track, so the full line is still on. I'm about ready to turn that down to braking only though. Fifth for the first time isn't bad, my first time on hard I got first, so it's a fairly easy goal to win on professional.

I should also say that a clean lap for the rival races means A LOT. I'm top 4% in the Ferrari challenge, and 9% in the Zonda challenge. Both dropped ~30 percentage points just because my lap was clean.
