Default Idle Valve; what frequency?

As the title says, I'm looking for the idle valve frequency.

I fixed my idle issues and got the IAC valve to work but I'm hearing a buzzing sound when it's on.

I need to know what frequency the idle valve operates on.

Thanks,

Thanks. The AEM doesn't have that setting. All the Miatas I've seen using the AEM are set up at 488Hz. For some reason; I can't get mine to work at that frequency. It will work at 31KHz but it emits a continuous buzzing sound.

Does anyone know what will happen to the valve if I keep on using it at that setting?

Thanks,

There is nothing higher than 31khz? A bunch of us have it set to 500hz and some with 1khz with good results.

There is but; 31Khz is 31 times 1,000Hz!

I'll try the 1Khz setting.

Thanks Vlad. I see you've been progressing a lot with your Adaptronic. Glad to hear.

Did you find a job yet?

Nope

Still looking. Getting so much stuff done around the house though (ripping out tile, putting it laminate)

Haven't seen you on here much lately, hope everything is ok.
