Default After a little while im back

Whats goin on guys. its been a while since I've been on here after all the stuff happened with my dad. If you guys remember my dad had a heart attack and i sold my miata to help with the bills. Now that everything has been figured out and it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, my project has been kick-started up again. I picked up a 99 10th Anni with a completely blown out clutch and few weeks ago started working on it. I put in a flyin miata coolant reroute, new clutch, changed my oilpan seals and re-siliconed it, and tomorrow bolting the tranny back up. Hopefully i can get this thing running in the new few days so i can pass smog just to take everything back apart and bolt up the voodoo kit. Being that ive never done this before the one thing im super worried about is the oil tap. I know flyin miata has a whole pdf on it but im still kinda sketchy about drilling into the pan. Anyone have advice?

btw my dad is doing great! me and him already started walking and occasionally jogging every morning. what a sav

Good to hear you dad is doing well.

Oil drain fitting is easy once you've done it...just have to be brave the first time. Sounds like you had the oil pan off, which would have made it infinitely easier to do then.
