HIDs on Brainstorm Headlights
Well.. I left work a bit early today to get some fun time today. The results are simply amazing, best 80 bucks I spent on the car. Xenarc 6k HID kit. Yes, they are not in projector housings, but they blow away the regular stockers.
Hid the ballasts.. Pass side is against the shock tower, drivers side is tucked against the fender.

Sure here's the gangster version:
1> unbolt the screw holding the ground wire for the low beam, pull the H3.
2> plug up the ballasts to the bulb, place the ballasts where you want them
3> insert the new bulb, bolt it down with the screw. If your using JUST the screw it might not fit PERFECT (aka wobble on bumps). I would suggest using some kind of method for steadying it. Either a bigger head screw or just some tape around the hole.
4> remove the power and ground main from the BSPs (the little box that fits into the housing
5> plug the HID power and ground into there.
6> either splice into the ground for your high beam (because its still getting power just needs a ground) or ground it.

What brand is the kit? are the bulbs H3 or H4?

putting HIDs in a reflector housing may seem cool, until you realize how much of a contemptible ******* you are for having done that.
In the third pic, that glare is EPIC.
Get some projector housings. I've been looking into this for a while. I'm looking for some Hyundai tiburon projectors. they are a small enough form factor that they just might fit the brainstorm housing.

While everyone states that the lights are obnoxious, I really do not think they are. Granted, they are not extremely focused like projectors, but the light pattern really only sprays up onto the rear bumper of a normal height car. To be honest, I really just didn't want to sink any more money into headlights as I rarely drive the car at night to begin with. So spending 100 bucks per projector on the hellas was just not an option.
