Default Anyone using an Ngauge? Similar to Dashdaq/nDash?

Hi All,

I know people are using the DashDaq(Now called the nDash) from what I can research. What I cant find is anyone using the Ngauge ona miata. It looks like the same technology and even interface as the Dashdaq. Only difference is you swap audible alarms with LED's that light up and the Ngauge is curcular and can be mounten in an air vent versus the big square on the dashdaq. It looks like many of the for tuners are using the Ngauge because of how well it fits in the vents for many ford vehicles. Does logging, knock, etc. Again only difference I can see is the form factor and the lack of audio alarm for LED's that light up. Personally, if I have the radio on, I think if all 6 lights lit up when the car had KR that could be better than an audible alarm....

Curious if anyone is using this and would love to see some pics of it installed in a miata as well!

Thanks!

Looks like they grab OBD2 data and display it, which is pretty common. The stock Miata ECU can't really be flashed/tuned so it typically ends up in the dumpster in favor of a stand alone ECU, and with that we lose OBD2 functionality.

I doubt anyone has this installed on a Miata because of those reasons. Maybe someone out there running a stock ECU does.

Thanks forr the reply!

Should have specified that this is for an NC. So only really applicable to NC guys. I will be turboing in the short future and will be reflashing the stock ECU with ECUtek and tune from Moto East. So with the NC you can retain the stock ECU for boosted applications and therefore reading data from the OBD2 is still possible. Hence why a device like this that will show you the readings from the stock KR sensor in the car which is a good(necessary) thing.

So - Any Boosted NC's out there running this to monitor your KR? Again - I know people are using the DashDaq....Now called nDash to do this already with the NC. Just curious if anyone on here has used the nGauge, which is the same thing with slight differences in form factor.

Thanks!

Tyler
