Default Begi Gauges

I realy like the oil pressure and coolant temp gauges and sensors that Begi offers. In their description is says "This gauge is designed to replace the stock unit."

-Does this mean that it will replace the gauge in the stock location?
-Has anyone ever used these, and where did you put them in your car?

They replace the stock gauges as a point of reference. Not in the gauge cluster. You mount the sensor in the recommended place and gauge in the car.

I like that - faster response than OE gauge - Steph you chould change it to "it actually works" my OE oil pressure sender was disconnected for a month or two and the idiot gauge always showed normal and still does with no sender at all... Running aftermarket gauges now.

I talked to the guy of that company about 6 months ago and he seemed not interested in any type of business for the guys over here. He did say he used to advertise on M.net but didn't get any interest. I did try to tell him there'd probably be a good response on mturbo.net but again it seemed he wasn't interested. Maybe if a bunch more people call him up he'd have a change of heart.

Enlarge hole for the oil temp gauge, and the square water temp converted to a round hole.

It makes me wonder, looking at that site, just how difficult it would be to recreate the same exact thing yourself..

Hell, if I ditched my AW/D faces and went back to black I could probably break even vs. getting the rest of the AW/D stuff for the cluster.
