Default Steering rack adjustment ???

My 90 will turn very sharply to the left but has a HUGE turn radius when going to the right. I'm sure this is adjustable but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Just curious to see if anyone had some tips on adjusting it or any exploded diagrams to show me what is going on. Thanks!

Yes, the wheel is straight when the car is driving straight and there are no alignment problems.

Its prolly so far off that the wheel is just pointed strait (360 degrees from strait) so it looks strait while it really isnt. just an idea

This was the answer I got on m.net - I think it is probably the correct solution:

You need to verify the tie rod settings. The rack is 'centered' by disconnecting the tie rods then counting the total steering wheel turns available and positioning the wheel mid way. (The steering wheel turns the same count of whole and partial turns each way before hitting the stops in the rack.) The tie rods are then adjusted so when the wheels are connected again, both front wheels point straight ahead, with the desired 'toe in', with the steering wheel still centered.
I suspect your tie rods are very asymmetrically adjusted and need correction.
You should also verify the rack allows the stock amount of steering wheel turns for your particular rack. PS and manual racks are different. I don't have the information of turns lock to lock available, someone here does.

In the end, I found it very trial and error. I threaded the outer tie rods in 17 turns on each side, eye balled it straight, and slid the steering rack back up. Next time, I'm half tempted just to pull the steering shaft out and back in entirely. Not sure about the BF kits, but on the V8R kit/pan setup, the back bolts are a HUGE pain to get at.
