apparently MD thieves are dumber than E. LA thieves? cuz the FIRST time around, the car was unlocked, and they just jacked the radio w/o cutting the top...

Right before I sold my NA 4 years ago somebody broke into it in the park 'n drive parking lot where I was parked. They stole the cheapy head unit I had and a crappy amp in the trunk. The car was locked and they didn't cut the top. They punched the pax lock with a screwdriver. Of course it slipped and put a big *** gouge along the door so I had to get the hole dam thing painted as opposed to just fixing the lock.
I guess it was easier than cutting the top, but still cost me big bucks. Doesn't anyone smash (windows) and run anymore?
