I can see they would face a big issue with the location of the fuel lid but if I were Autonexion I would go all out and find somekind of solution.

Damn that looks like way too much work. I do some first rx7 lines where the top meets the rear quarters. I'd be curious to see just how that trunk becomes functional. It looks to me like the entire thing would need to be removed as a hard top. Otherwise he's going to do some blending in of the deck lid and recutting to match the fastback flat plane.

I do like the decklid btw.

put a hinge on the back of the hard top and chop up the trunk to make work, then it would open up just like a 240

the stock trunklid is removed and the fastback includes a new lid. that should help keep weight down as you remove the heavy steel trunk lid and hinges etc.

Judging by the fact that his trunk replacement cost like 400 in the non carbon version shipped to the east coat... I'd hate to see what this will run.
