Default More broken stuffs...

So I was up at a friends shop lastnight to poke around at the exhaust so we can gauge what needs to be done to make a 3" exhaust. Well, while we were under there, I wanted to fix a small rattle that was under there somewhere. Just by chance, to grabbed the exhaust and shook it.. and hear a rattle, but it wasn't what I had been hearing. Instead, it was the sound of something look IN the exhaust... more specifically, the cat. Yup, turns out the car was broken up. I have no idea how long it had been clogged, but i'd guess for quite sometime and was probably the reason my car didn't seem to have the top end I had rememberd when I was out on Road Atlanta. I dropped the mid pipe and finished punching out the cat. Surprisingly, the car is still VERY quiet even with no cat....which further leads me to belive it had been clogged for quite sometime.

On a side note, spool is improved quite a lot.... but because I don't know when it happened, I simply didn't really notice less spool... and it shoots some fire now.

-Update. Talked with FM...who talked with Thermal and the cat is still under warranty...kinda. It was completely under warranty until I mentioned that I had to finish hollowing it so I could drive the car and NOT damage anything else. So for $60 and me paying the shipping to send it to Thermal, they'll put a new cat on the mid-pipe. The only reason i'd do this is AFTER I put the 3" on my car I plan on selling the FM exhaust and it'll be easier to sell with a good cat in it.
